Abstract
Exploration investigation with using GIS technology is a branch of this vast science. GIS prepare a data bank for a good access to Mineral deposit data and processing them for indicating the new exploration areas.

In additional, with usage of this system you can create sample location nets, drilling hole points and coring points and different geological sections in various scales:

With this method in primary, detail and semi detail exploration, you can access to the geological and mine data and processing data for reaching to the mine potential map for an element (or a group of elements) which can reduce budget and time and limit the area for exploration.

This study has two targets:

The first one is gathering preparing and processing data for a special explorations, and also form an application group of data .These data can be a base for preparing mining map in different scale such as 1:100,000 ,1:250,000 and province scale which can be used for zoning the exploration area and Economic geology maps.

The second target is scientific application for processing and interprcting data for getting promising area for a special element under an ore mineralisation modeling. During this method all of the effective data for ore mineralization in area digitize and inter to the computer system. The data dominately includes:

Geological, structural and geomorphology data, geophysical, geochemical and remote sensing data, economic geology (active and abandoned mines and indications), alteration zones and form of intrusive bodies and etc.

Then these data process and inter prate and according to the result, mine potential maps prepared and, promising area for metallic and none metallic element, indicate.

In this paper the mine potential map and final results of Shahr-e-Babak sheet with 1:100,000 scale is a sample for indicating of promising area as a GIS application in exploration .

Introduction
Geographic Information System (GIS) is a suitable place for considerable amount of data and simultaneous data processing. This system preparing the researchers particular possibilities for next processing .

In the current century, this technology has been caused considerable changes, in different sciences and technologies as well as in the research centers. Considering the capabilities of this new system, the world will wilness spectacular changes.Exploration investigation and defining promising areas is one of the applied branches of this system.

Here there is an example for this kind of study.
