Abstract
United Arab Emirates have witnessed rapid urban growth during few recent years. These developments require special policies and strategies in Spatial Data. Therefore, Municipality and Planning Department of Ajman Emirate had the intention to take advantage of the GIS in order to have a modern and powerful spatial information system. This presentation shows how the municipality had implemented the enterprise GIS and developed various types of GIS applications that serve the decision makers, government departments, and private sector in Ajman.
