GIS techniques have been used to solve problems of several deciplines.We here like to highlight about the fecibility of GIS in mapping rock types.
The technlogy itself is convenient and useful to Geological Community.An enhanced satellite image used to delineate significant rock types of interest.And the GIS analytical results have been confirmed by Geochemical method.
