The ETM lansat bands 7,4 and 2 of sahaljfara was interpreted for the reason of analysing the most effective factors in the continous desertification process in the region. The process caused by two type of factors; the natural factors and the manmade factors. The manmade behaviour in the area speed up the desertification process e.g. pumping the groundwater from the shallow lences cutting the forest trees for housing and plants. The said area will face more problems in the future if the government will not take the intiative to elimnate this activities.
