Abstract
Shorelines are one of the most sensitive areas exposed to threat in the environmental management. In order to conservation, zonation and identification the environmental sensitivity degree can be done in these regions. At the next stage it could be designed a management program based on the environmental sensitivity degree.
In this study it has been used from geo reference images that have been provided from Land Sat ETM images rectified by ER mapper software. Moreover the present land use map of region was provided by Arcview software.
The area usage, environmental characteristics and socio-economic conditions were compared with the suggested criteria by IUCN and IMO. Finally results showed the map of province shorelines with different sensitivity degrees.
