Abstract
Practical Experience of Integration GIS and RDBM System

The paper considers practical aspects of implementation and use integrated information in DSS for uniform natural resource management and environmental assessment system for regional government.The new technologies based on Geographical Information Systems (GIS) for registration natural resource as cadastre, are appear. GIS unifies data of different source of information into common project environment. GIS allows build up the full-range tools for DSS. The base technology interconnect between ESRIŽ ArcSDETM 9, server modules and RDBMS Microsoft Ž SQLServer 2000 was selected the technology Active Data Objects (ADO). This technology allows creating application modules with Delphi, C++, Java and Visual Basic and with Java Scripts and Visual Basic Scripts. A WEB portal based on Microsoft Internet Information Server provides automation access for client interfaces. The Active Server Pages are created by DHTML and XML/XSLT standards with VBScripts and Java Scripts. The thematic GIS projects are created by ESRIŽ ArcGISTM 9 with gateway ESRIŽ ArcSDETM 9 and are published on Microsoft Internet Information Server 5.0 by ESRIŽ ArcIMSTM 9 as proper services. It is easy-to-use and applied corporate portal technology for access to spatial information in data warehouse for any remote Internet/Intranet clients.
