GIS for panchayat level planning and decision making

Population is
phenomenally exploding all over the world and hence the available resources have
become too inadequate to cope up with our needs. So it is high time to optimally
use all the resources, so that available resources are neither depleted nor
cause any danger to the ecosystem nor exploited only by a section of people. The
Geographic Information Systems has the unique potential in proper planning of
all resources. So the present experimental study has been undertaken to develop
a model capsule for micro level planning at Panchyat level using GIS.
