Abstract
The pluridisciplinary nature of urban areas should be administered by actors who are interrelated by a network of information systems. This concerted approach involves inter-sectorial collaboration between several professions as well as the availability of georeferenced information and data at the scales of the municipal, cantonal and regional levels. At the outset, it is necessary to integrate basic geo-referenced information with dynamic sets of data concerning specific occupations and professions (for example dealing with water, transport, green space, etc.) as well as data and information from simulation models of complex environmental processes. Once this project has been implemented, it is necessary to have access to an information and decision support system that can be consulted by diverse actors at the local level. This tool should enable monitoring, updating and ongoing consultation using effective visual representations and sets of instruments that support decision-making processes. To reach this result, the project will more particularly study the sources of information and technologies available, as well as the modelings used by the professionals of the urban development. Principal objective is to build Geographical Information System of commune (Communal GIS) which facilitates fast access to the information, which can be regularly updated, which allows the integration of the relevant data source, which facilitates the generation of alternatives and offers a restitution adapted at the request of the customers
