THEME: Image Intelligence and Data Dissemination for the Defence Sector
Introduction:-
Today it is possible to get up to date location data using handheld positioning equipments, UAVs, etc. Maps have been traditionally been created and used by Military and Defence personal in the warfare, but geospatial technologies, which include remote sensing, GIS, GPS, Aerial Photography and other related disciplines, has become an integral part of the changing war field dynamics. With continuous advancements in the filed of computing, geographic analysis methodologies and tools, map making and visualization, it has become imperative for the defence force to start utilising the maximum benefits of geospatial technologies.
Geo Intelligence 2008 Conference will provide a platform for the Industry to showcase their latest products, technology, solutions and services. It aims at being the networking hub within the community to develop relationship between the existing users and providers of geospatial products and services. It will help every participant develop new interpersonal and customer relations in this region for the spread of these sciences and development of mankind at large.
