GeoIntelligence Asia 2011 has proved to be a landmark conference on defence and national security topic, bringing together sponsors, speakers, exhibitors and delegates on a common platform and exchanging ideas over the week of June 14 – 15, 2011. The conference reflected optimism and growing confidence among the defence community about the potential for the geospatial sector. About 750 participants has taken part in GeoIntelligence Asia this year where some fly in from across the corners of the world, met in an environment of vigor and synergy at the Manekshaw Centre, Delhi Cantt., New Delhi, India. We are overwhelmed to express our gratitude to all those who contributed in the resounding success of GeoIntelligence Asia 2011.
Many emerged recommendations have been formulated following the discussions and deliberations made during the Plenary Sessions and Tracks that talked about GIS in Situational Awareness, GIS for Internal Security and Emerging Trends in GIS Technology.
