LAND INFO Completes Sale of Company to Mehta Group of India
LAND INFO International announced it has finalized an agreement to sell the company to India-based Mehta Group,
an international firm with holdings in the IT networking, software development, and textiles industries. The deal will help LAND INFO expand marketing and product development activities in the USA and overseas. The company plans to maintain LAND INFO headquarters in Denver, Colorado.
The Mehta Group plans to finance needed expansion of marketing and product development activities. This includes introducing new data solutions for LAND INFO's larger clients, which consists of Fortune 1000 players in Telecommunications, Oil & Gas, and Civil Engineering markets. The company also plans to bolster its operating and marketing partnerships with new programs.
"We are overjoyed with the promise and opportunities that exist with LAND INFO," commented Mukul Mehta, president and CEO of Fi Sofex, a unit of the Mehta Group that will be working most closely with LAND INFO.
