New President and CEO for Indexonly Technologies Inc.
LAS VEGAS, December 15, 2000 - Indexonly Technologies, Inc.announced today that Peter Ribeiro will become President and CEO effective January 1, 2001. Peter Ribeiro joined Indexonly as COO in August 2000 and takes over from retiring President and CEO Cliff Sweeney who remains a director.
Peter Ribeiro is a leading business and marketing strategist with over 20 years of experience in the business-to-business and business-to-consumer market segments. As Chief Operating Officer, he has overseen Indexonly’s operations in the finance, legal, production and marketing departments. Further responsibilities will be the coordination and rapid implementation of the company’s entry into the global wireless marketplace. Peter will continue to be a Director of Indexonly having been appointed in September 2000.
Prior to joining Indexonly, he was a Senior Business Manager for a major retailer of high tech products and instrumental in helping that company gain new market share, specifically leading a Consumer High Tech Electronics Retail Division that is now considered a market leader in several categories. His areas of expertise were operational and field management, financial budgeting and execution of business plans, and utilization and implementation of technology. Peter was a member of this company’s Business Process Improvement Team spearheaded by a major international accounting firm, where his creative ability to "think outside the box" poised the company for the next level of dynamic growth.
