P2P Software Developer Endeavors Technology Appoints Apollo Vice President European Operations

Peer-to-peer web software developer, Endeavors Technology, Inc., today announced the appointment of Bob Apollo as vice president of European operations. The appointment reflects the company's drive on establishing itself as a global player in next generation software for the web.

Prior to joining Endeavors, Apollo was vice president of customer service infrastructure vendor, eGain, where he helped the company to achieve leadership in Europe's e-commerce market. Other senior management positions held during his career include vice president of European operations for the Interchange Software Group of Sterling Commerce, and vice-president and managing director of Europe, Asia-Pacific, Middle East and African operations for CRM vendor XcelleNet. Sterling Commerce acquired XcelleNet in 1998.

Before XcelleNet, Apollo was vice president of marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa for Unix vendor Santa Cruz Operation (SCO). During his period with SCO, international revenues grew to represent more than half of the vendor's world-wide revenues.

Apollo holds a B.A. in Business Studies and has published numerous articles on key industry topics including the mobilisation of the modern workforce, software vendor channel strategies, future of the Internet and the potential for on-line businesses. He has delivered keynote addresses at dozens of international conferences including Unix Expo - Moscow, IT Asia - New Delhi, SCO Forum - Santa Cruz USA, Developers Forum - Johannesburg, and at other UK and European industry events.

As Endeavors' vice president for European operations, Apollo is charged with building awareness for the company's Magi (TM)peer-to-peer software, and in establishing a network of direct and indirect sales channels across all markets. Apollo will be based at Endeavors' newly-established offices in Thames Valley, England.

Brian Morrow, president and chief operating officer of Endeavors, comm ents: "Bob is a skilled business developer within the IT industry. Given the growing European interest in Magi, he will prove a valuable addition to Endeavors worldwide management team in helping us to meet the peer-to-peer needs of the European marketplace."
