DAT/EM Systems International partners with inpho GmbH and other companies to form the GeoToolBox Team
DAT/EM Systems International, a developer of photogrammetric software and hardware solutions, is pleased to announce their involvement in the GeoToolBox Team. GeoToolBox, which was introduced at the ISPRS 2000 Conference in Amsterdam, is a constructive cooperation between several small yet leading technology providers. Two main players in the development of this cooperation were DAT/EM Systems International and inpho GmbH (Stuttgart, Germany). DAT/EM Systems International is the developer of the Summit PC™ digital photogrammetric workstation, Capture NT™ data capture module, and several other applications designed to make mapping easier. Inpho GmbH develops software for aerial triangulation, DTM modelling, image matching, and feature extraction, including MATCH-T terrain model generation software. Other partners in the GeoToolBox Team include: X-Position Oy, Vexcel Imaging Austria, Stellacore Corporation, and SensorVision.
"GeoToolBox," said Jeff Yates, DAT/EM's General Manager, "is a cooperation that allows each of the partners to offer a full range of photogrammetric solutions to their customer bases. The partnership provides an opportunity for DAT/EM to continue to focus on its core software while providing additional value to its clients through the availability of other integrated technologies."
In conjunction with the introduction of the GeoToolBox Team at ISPRS 2000, DAT/EM released its Capture Contour™ software module, a Capture NT add-on specifically designed to receive input from inpho's MATCH-T auto-correlation program, while also having the ability to employ any DTM data, whether produced manually or automatically.
