EverTrac and Paradigm agree to deliver advanced, cost effective GPS and wireless-based eBusiness solutions to expand the range of solutions in the location-aware services marketplace

EverTrac (www.evertrac.com), a leader in advanced location-aware eBusiness solutions, and Paradigm Advanced Technologies, Inc. (www.powerloc.com ), a world-leader in wireless location-based electronic commerce announced a strategic partnership to develop and deliver advanced GPS and wireless-based eBusiness solutions in the rapidly growing location-aware services marketplace. EverTrac is a joint venture of Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) dedicated to delivering location-aware eBusiness and tracking solutions through the global sales and professional service resources of its parent companies. The solutions are built upon core technologies like CA's Jasmine ii, and Unicenter TNG.

As part of this agreement, PowerLOC is providing an integrated ``out of the box'' solution targeted for B2B and B2C applications, that will include PowerLOC's L-Biz(TM) wireless location solution, integrated with CA-Unicenter TNG®, Computer Associates' enterprise-wide eBusiness platform. This includes CA-Unicenter TNG's 2D and 3D Real World Interfaces, Program Enterprise Management, Asset Management, Problem Management, Advanced Help Desk and Remote Control options.

``This agreement is of tremendous importance to the marketplace where the location and manageability of mobile resources, indoors or outdoors, is essential for eBusiness success,'' said Imran Anwar, President & CEO of EverTrac. ``PowerLOC's advanced mobile location devices and carrier grade L-Biz(TM) location system software, integrated with CA-Unicenter TNG, enables us to deliver cost effective location solutions to enterprise accounts through the global CA sales force.''

We are pleased to deploy our devices as part of their specialized business solutions,'' states Eduardo Guendelman, PowerLOC's CEO. ``With this system, monitoring mobile resources and other corporate assets is taken to a new level of performance and functionality, allowing enterprises with large numbers of assets to use PowerLOC vehicle and portable battery powered mobile devices. EverTrac can deliver these units and integrate them into the network management infrastructure anywhere in the world, adding a whole new dimension to asset protection and information management solutions unique to CA''.
