    Milan Polytechnic chooses Global Geomatics’ technology to GeoEnhanced™ VVF software

    Global Geomatics Inc., announces the integration of its technology, in VVF ITALIA (Valutazione Vocazionalita’ Faunistica-Habitat Suitability Assessment). Global Geomatics Inc is famous for its “Open Geographic Data Interface” (OGDI) which provides rapid visualization and access to a multitude of heterogeneous geodata and image formats.

    The Italian Ministry of Environment launches a new program for the continuing education of local administrators and technicians operating in all environmental fields._Milan Polytechnic is one of the institutions participating in this program_. Global Geomatics Inc. has been chosen to improve the reach of their Geographic Information System. Through its GRASSLAND GIS software, Global Geomatics Inc. provides the basis for VVF, a software tool aimed at helping public decision makers and conservation biologist to assess the viability of endangered and threatened species. With VVF they can evaluate policies and plans for wildlife management, species translocations, reserve design and habitat protection. Thanks to Global Geomatic’s technology the dilemma of redistributing geographic data is no longer a challenge.
