Premio Computer Introduces Predator II Workstation Featuring High Memory and Dual Processor Capability With Speeds Up to 1GHz

Demonstrating its continuing commitment to bring increasingly higher performance products to market, Premio Computer Inc. US , manufacturer of the Premio® brand of desktops and servers, has added the new Premio® Predator II workstation to its extensive product.

Featuring dual processor capability, the Predator II Series supports the latest high-speed Intel® Pentium® III processors with speeds from 733MHz up to 1 GHz. Offering 133MHz front side bus (FSB) speed, the system offers exceptional performance without the additional expense of Rambus memory.

The new professional business system is ideally suited for both businesses and colleges where a wide variety of graphic-intensive applications are used for engineering, desktop publishing and software development. Specific applications include computer animation, computer aided design (CAD), digital content creation (DCC), Internet content creation (ICC), and geographic information services (GIS).

Built to order, the Predator II Series allows for complete customization of individual requirements. Priced starting at $1,500, the Predator II Series comes standard with an Intel® Pentium III/733 MHz processor, a 20.4 GB hard drive, 128 MB PC133 memory, 32MB video card, 20/48X CD-ROM, Windows 2000 Professional, and a 17`` monitor.

Allowing for maximum flexibility, the Predator II Series supports up to two Intel® Pentium® III processors and four DIMM sockets allowing up to 2GB of PC133 ECC SDRAM. Other outstanding features include an ATX case with 300 watts power supply, dual processor motherboard, front and rear chassis fans, and an AGP 4x slot for superior 3D graphics performance.

The new Predator II Series also features Premio's customized PC Quick Fix software allowing convenient diagnosis of technical problems. This advanced software allows desktops, workstations and servers to undergo a self-healing reconstruction process to recover deleted or damaged files and repair corrupted system files. The software can also connect the user directly to a live Premio support analyst for a real-time chat session and diagnosis of problems online

Manufactured in Premio's ISO-9002 certified facility, the Predator II Series is Netware® YES certified, 3Com® connected and fully optimized for Windows® 98, Windows® NT, and Windows® 2000. Premio offers toll-free technical support, a 3-year limited warranty, a 2-year limited warranty on motherboards
