    The Return of Spatial Plus

Spatial Plus (a site that develops and distributes MapInfo enhancements) made their presence known to the professional spatial community during July 1999. A few short months later, the innovative Australian site was abruptly shut down, due to external pressures placed upon us that were beyond our control. In a short time before Spatial Plus had their web site closed, the proprietors had cultivated a large group of impressed users of their software, who are now pleased to know that the web site is back online.

During this "down time" the focus of Spatial Plus has changed, with the largest modification being that all products available from the web site are now free. Several products have been modified and improved, new products are currently being developed and a completely new product called "Layers Plus" has been released this week to celebrate the reopening.

Layers Plus manages user's MapInfo layers, with the option of making each layer accessible with a single click of the left mouse button over a button pad. The free Layers Plus product can be configured within seconds to save users hours each week. Spatialplus.com is more than just a site for downloading quality products. The site offers assistance to all levels of MapInfo users via the valuable and constantly expanding "knowledge base", including frequently asked questions, user requests for help and links to some of the most useful related sites to assist all users.

Spatial Plus offer quality products designed to make using MapInfo more effective, adding value to your spatial systems. Spatial Plus is now here to stay and apologise to their users who were affected by this temporary closure.
