SWEGIS - New reseller of data from Tele Atlas
SWEGIS and Tele Atlas have joined in an international partnership. SWEGIS will be reselling the digital maps from Tele Atlas in formats suitable for GIS' (Geographic Information Systems). Customization includes; transformation to other coordinate systems, translation to different file formats and extraction of data partitions.
The Tele Atlas database is the largest digital map database in the world and by this partnership; SWEGIS became the first reseller of Tele Atlas products in Sweden. SWEGIS will however resell the products from Tele Atlas worldwide. The consulting services and provided software includes both the GIS-industry and the Internet. The GIS-section is specialized in the software from ESRI and MapInfo and the Internet-section in development of applications for Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Server).
