Picturesque Diamond Woods Golf Course Selects UpLink's Advanced GPS System

Austin, Texas & Monroe, Ore., April 25, At Diamond Woods Golf Club, where the stunning Cascade Mountains offer a mesmerizing backdrop, golfers now have another reason to look to the sky to enhance their golfing experience.

The facility has announced that it had selected UpLink's Advanced GPS System, joining more than 40 other golf facilities around the world in embracing this new technology, which provides golfers with accurate yardage measurements to the hole, as well as a myriad of other benefits.

This technological capability, which is made possible because each cart unit receives position data using a combination of GPS and wireless communication technology, is critical at Diamond Woods, where the golfer is constantly challenged, over the 7,000-yard championship layout, by 45 strategically placed bunkers and numerous elevation changes.
