Universal Map Donates Very Large Wall Map to Library of Congress

Lansing, Mich. and Washington, April 18, As part of its 25th anniversary celebration, Universal Map will donate one of the largest published wall maps of the United States to the Library of Congress. The contribution will be made at the International Map Trade Association Conference in Washington, D.C. on April 20. The 25-foot wide by 18-foot high illustration of the fifty states is one of only two ever produced by Universal Map; the map has a retail value of $7,600.

"We're very pleased to contribute to this fine institution dedicated to learning," stated Universal Map president Greg Bond.

The huge depiction of our country will be housed in the Geography and Map Division of the Library of Congress.
