New GLOBAL Terrain Product Handbook Available
Denver, April 19, Intermap Technologies has announced that a new GLOBAL Terrain Product Handbook has been released.
The new edition of the Handbook includes product specifications for GLOBAL Terrain digital elevation products, including Orthorectified Radar Images (ORRIs), Digital Surface Models (DSMs) and GLOBAL Terrain's new bare earth Digital Terrain Models (DTMs). The DTMs are created using Intermap's proprietary bare earth algorithm, TerrainFit. The new Product Handbook also includes updated information on the many Value Added Products that Intermap offers.
"We designed the Handbook as a reference guide for those using or considering using GLOBAL Terrain DEMs" said Andy Shepherd, GLOBAL Terrain Director of Customer relations. "It includes product specifications, metadata information, accuracy statements, validation and verification as well as datum and projection specifications. The Handbook is complimentary to the GLOBAL Terrain Quick Start Guide also available on the website."
Both the GLOBAL Terrain Product Handbook and Quick Start Guide are available free from Intermap Technologies or via download from the GLOBAL Terrain web site.
