Autodesk strategy briefing for the electric utility industry
At DistribuTECH 2001, the Autodesk GIS Solutions Division will host a
vision briefing highlighting its direction, technology and partnerships for
the Electric Utility Industry. Highlights of the briefing will include:
- The Autodesk GIS Solutions vision for the electric utility industry and how it is elevating GIS into a mainstream business support system
- The specifics of a new ABB/Autodesk technical relationship
- The new Autodesk GIS Design Server (announced 01-16-01) and the
benefits of an integrated server technology with desktop products such
as AutoCAD Map(R), Autodesk MapGuide(R), and Autodesk OnSite
- Autodesk's recent acquisition of St. Louis-based Gentry systems
(01-24-01)
