CSDMS and GITA to join hands for improvement and advancement in Geospatial Information Technology
The Center of Spatial Database Management and Solutions (CSDMS), India and Geospatial Information and Technology Association (GITA), USA have signed a memorandum of understanding on February 8, 2001 on the occasion of Map India 2001.
Both the organizations have been actively involved in the field of geospatial information technology and will now work together to collectively improve and increase the acceptance of this technology. Looking at their common goals of training, education, networking and information exchange, they have joined hands in this endeavor.
CSDMS and GITA will continue to identify activities of mutual concern and benefit that will ensure an effective long-term relationship between the two organisations.
