Stennis Space Center selects PlanGraphics
Frankfort, Ky.-PlanGraphics, Inc., a provider of professional spatial information technology services, has added NASA's John C. Stennis Space Center to its growing client list.
PlanGraphics will be providing technical support for NASA's Environmental Geographic Information System (EGIS) project. The EGIS, developed at Stennis Space Center, will be the model for applying GIS technology to evaluate the environmental impact of NASA activities at all of the space agency's centers in the United States.
The EGIS will be installed at each NASA Center. PlanGraphics will provide technical support for the project, including training, database support, consultation on a variety of project issues, and recommendations for applications and requirements.
