Q-1500 and QHE-2500: two-way messaging systems for Europe
San Diego, Feb. 1-- Q-1500 and QHE-2500 are, two-way messaging systems for tracking and remote monitoring and
control applications. Ruggedized for reliable operation, both systems are
ideal for areas where protection from severe environment is a must.
These systems provide accurate tracking and monitoring of such high-value
mobile and fixed assets as heavy construction equipment and marine vessels, as
well as for oil and gas pipelines. Through the ORBCOMM satellite system,
critical tracking and monitoring information is transmitted.

These two innovative line of asset
monitoring and tracking products have successfully passed ETSI testing and all
European compliance requirements and may therefore carry the CE mark and be
sold within Europe.
According to QUAKE president Ray Calhoun, QUAKE's European sales and
distribution effort will commence immediately. "This marks an important
milestone for our young, fast-growing company," he said. "With the CE mark,
we can aggressively market our products throughout Europe, where there is a
major adoption of these advanced technologies to provide tracking and
monitoring solutions."
QUAKE's approval drew praise from MCS Europe, the exclusive licensee of
ORBCOMM in Europe.
"We are very excited about QUAKE gaining compliance for their
asset-monitoring products within Europe," said MCS Europe managing director
Andrea Cendali Pignatelli. "The features offered by these products combined
with Europe's fast-emerging tracking and monitoring marketplace make this an
important opportunity for all of us."
