    Q-1500 and QHE-2500: two-way messaging systems for Europe

    San Diego, Feb. 1-- Q-1500 and QHE-2500 are, two-way messaging systems for tracking and remote monitoring and control applications. Ruggedized for reliable operation, both systems are ideal for areas where protection from severe environment is a must.

    These two innovative line of asset monitoring and tracking products have successfully passed ETSI testing and all European compliance requirements and may therefore carry the CE mark and be sold within Europe.

    According to QUAKE president Ray Calhoun, QUAKE's European sales and distribution effort will commence immediately. "This marks an important milestone for our young, fast-growing company," he said. "With the CE mark, we can aggressively market our products throughout Europe, where there is a major adoption of these advanced technologies to provide tracking and monitoring solutions."

    QUAKE's approval drew praise from MCS Europe, the exclusive licensee of ORBCOMM in Europe.
    "We are very excited about QUAKE gaining compliance for their asset-monitoring products within Europe," said MCS Europe managing director Andrea Cendali Pignatelli. "The features offered by these products combined with Europe's fast-emerging tracking and monitoring marketplace make this an important opportunity for all of us."
