Bill Huber appointed as acting editor of Directions magazine
Jan 19, Spokane, WA - Directions Magazine announced today that Bill Huber has been appointed Acting Editor. In this new position, Dr. Huber will manage the magazine's vast amount of content and will also be responsible for providing pertinent and important information for Directions readers. Formerly, Dr. Huber was a Contributing Editor at the magazine. He will assume his new position immediately.
"Bill brings a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge to our magazine," commented Jane Elliott, Publisher at Directions. Dr. Huber, principal in the GIS and environmental analysis consulting firm Quantitative Decisions in Merion Station, Pennsylvania, has been among the most prolific contributors to ESRI's ArcView-L for the past four years. He is the founder of an independent ArcView discussion list and also teaches GIS and Environmental Statistics at Penn State University.
