ParView, Inc. secures international GPS patent

SARASOTA, Fla., Jan. 23 - ParView, Inc., the provider of golf cart installed Global Positioning Systems (GPS), has secured an exclusive international patent license agreement with PagiSat, LLC, based in Tulsa, OK, and Pinranger of Australia, for the rights to all international golf industry- related GPS applications.

"This is a significant step for ParView," says David Chessler, CEO of ParView. "Before finalizing this exclusive license agreement, we sought legal counsel from leading law firms specializing in international patents. This patent is extremely strong, giving ParView exclusivity to utilizing GPS or DGPS on a golf course. We intend to take every action necessary to protect the integrity of the patent. Securing this patent will offer our company and our strategic partners a unique opportunity for growth and international expansion in both hand-held and cart-mounted systems."

"We are delighted to enter into a relationship with ParView, Inc. ParView has by far the best system on the market. We expect our partnership to quickly dominate the international market for GPS distance measurement," says Jim McGill, Managing Director of PagiSat, LLC.

Under the terms of the agreement, ParView will continue to promote its cart-mounted GPS Course Management System and pursue other integrated GPS solutions for walking golfers, turf care equipment and irrigation systems.
