Motorola Collaborates With Mobilize to Deliver Literature Distribution Application to Wireless Handsets
March 27 announced a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Mobilize Inc.,
the leading provider of off-the-shelf mobile enterprise applications, that calls for Mobilize to deliver the literature distributor feature of its Mobilize Web(TM) application to Motorola's latest generation of multiple communication handsets. The Mobilize Web application is a complete solution to enable mobile sales forces to publish, manage and distribute documents, presentations and sales materials using certain mobile phones.
The literature distributor feature of the Mobilize Web application allows users to e-mail or fax documents directly to customers using these mobile phones. Users can also order on-demand
printing, binding and courier services through print fulfillment partners, including NowDocs. The feature can also be used to place an order for pre-printed literature and promotional materials to be fulfilled at a printing center.
