MapmyIndia VAS on SoI data

5 November 2009
Mumbai, India: MapmyIndia entered into an alliance with Department of Science & Technology’s Survey of India bolstering MapmyIndia’s reach within the government and defence organizations.

MapmyIndia aims to provide VAS on Survey of India maps. The symbiotic nature of the association, where MapmyIndia can use Survey of India maps to provide value added services and vice versa is a huge step forward for the navigation and GIS industries in India.

Survey of India had similarly entered into a deal with SatNav Technologies earlier this year.
