5 November 2009
Augusta, Georgia: ESi, the developers of WebEOC first web-enabled crisis information management software and 3-GIS have announced the formation of a new joint venture company, Tucuxi.

The new company will develop advanced geospatial software products that provide a common operating picture to crisis response teams and decision makers at emergency operations centers at government and corporate installations around the world.

This new version enables users to quickly add new data feeds and map layers, and includes preloaded data feeds, such as live fire locations from MODIS satellites, live hurricane tracks, and National Weather Service river depth gauges for all 50 states.
