Bentley’s Be Inspired - Infrastructure best practices symposium

13 October 2009
Charlotte, USA, 13th October 2009: To hear the designers' and doers stories firsthand, Bentley is hosting 'Be Inspired’ the annual Bentley Awards aptly named event, between today and tomorrow. Over 250 organisations globally have participated by nominating projects for this year's competition and the 50 finalists will present their success stories here at The Westin Charlotte in North Carolina to compete for the awards.

The project submissions have been slotted under four broad heads - Building and Structural, Transportation, Government and Utilities, Process Plant and Power Generation. Each of these finalists have done something new and hence have qualified to present their work under the 'Innovation' tag. A new category this year is the 'Special Recognition Awards' for projects nominated by the jurors themselves. The four projects selected this year for this special award, transcend multiple categories and best represent Return on Investment, Sustaining Our Society, Sustaining our Environment, and Sustaining the Professions states Bentley.

The presentations will commence at 1300 hrs UTC and watch this space for updates.
