National Spatial Data Exchange (nsde) Format under nsdi

This file contains general information such as banner name representing type of data (SOI DVD, NRIS layer, Satellite Image etc.), scale of source material, security classification, projection name and parameters, number and name of states and districts falling within the area, raster grid size, surveyed year/date of acquisition, data level code, spheroid, control (TIC) points information, name of Operating System, GIS package and DBMS name, orientation of raster data etc.

The detailed description and format of record number 3 onwards of this file is given in Table 3.
