Abstract
GIS technology has become a primary tool in resource management. As North America's premier school of Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences (SENRS), GIS has been integrated throughout the curriculum of existing and new study programs at SENRS. This integration is a continuous process that requires intensive computer and human recourses skills. This paper describes the planning and implementation of the curriculum changes. In addition, curriculum content and its rational are discussed, including sample course outlines and GIS project topics.
