Abstract
The Bermuda Environmental Health Database System (BEHDS) is designed to protect public health & welfare on the island by managing inspection & investigation information. BEHDS is a web-enabled, Public Health analysis and reporting tool.

BEDHS allows authorized government employees to access the database, regardless of their physical location. Record keeping and GIS mapping are combined in the same browser interface. Data entry and data queries through interactions with maps are prominent features of the system.

Benefits of BEHDS include better team task-scheduling, reduction in paperwork, effortless retrieval of data, enhanced customer service, sophisticated reporting and superior communication both in the workplace and with customers. BEHDS has been integrated with other Government applications and shares data with other departments.
