Abstract
Over the last few years, there has been a noticeable trend for suppliers of image processing systems for use remote sensing imagery to become involved with digital photogrammertry. In particular given their interest, expertise and experience in handling remotely sensed imagery.
In this paper the main item acquisition in IKONOS pan mono with a 1 m pixel size and the of area covered by 7525*9252 pixels .This is a good image quality , being free from the dust and haze which spoil many of the satellite images of area.
Polynomial and rational mathematical models use to geometric correction. Digital elevation model (DEM) uses to rational model was generated from 3D data acquired
from National Cartographic Center (N.C.C) of Iran. The accuracy of these data is 1/25000 .The ground control point (GCPs) for geometric correction by differential method carried out using two of the latest Sercel dual frequencies geodetic quality sets. The planimetric and height accuracies in terms of the RMSE values for each of the GCOs are better than 1 cm .
Finally we can generated jmage map by use of polynomial model with the 1/5276
Scale and by using rational model with the 1/3201 scale.
