One of the ways for estimating runoff in a basin is JASTIN method in natural resources engineering. This method was performed manually that wasn’t Accurate enough and its modifying was time-consuming and difficult.

It is possible to use from abilities of geographical information system (GIS) for spatial Modeling and composing different criteria for calculating runoff by developing Geographical Information Sciences.

Runoff is calculated by two methods: traditional and GIS Methods in this research. This research’s resultant shows that GIS method has more accuracy and runoff is measurable for all parts of basin also model’s Modification and development is more feasible.

According to this research results it is proposed to modify the model's coefficients because of the model has been made on manual basis and considered the basin at whole while in raster-GIS analysis are made for each cell.
