Introduction
Tuti Island is one of the greatest islands along the river Nile; its history starts several decades ago after some early Sudanese trips use the island for planting. The river Nile have a seasonal flood starts usually at July ends at October, this flood increase the river level for a dangerous high levels some times ,which affect the habitant around the river bank and makes some changes in the total area of land and makes cuts and fills at deferent sides of the for the river .

Pupose:
In Tuti islands case, the island have been one of the first places used for human settlements in grater Khartoum (the Capital of Sudan) since early eighties century, but the river flood puts the people of the island in a risk and they face a very critical situation every year and it makes them suffer from the danger for a five months a year and many houses might be demolished partially or completely along this period. The study will concentrate on the using GIS for studying the land use variation due to environmental changes in Tuti Island through a period of thirty years using satellite imagery and aerial photography. The government on its way to develop the island shall make an upgrading of the land use which may cause some demolishing for the houses in a dangerous area and re-planning of the residential area and relocating of some peoples as must.

Result:
The case study will present how the river affect the island area through this period and will give a simple monitoring for the next period.

Conclusion:
Tuti Island has been extended by more than 40% of its previous area ,it must be re-planed as soon as possible with a special care of its history and the community culture. The River bank must be maintained by some construction in order to protect the island .decision maker must put in mind the changes before decide any new bridges across the island ,the river Nile may change its channel from side to another side of the island.
