Abstract :
Disaster are of all times and ages such as disasters due to earthquake and tsunami along coast of western part of Sumatera island. In this area earthquakes was recorded happenings so many times within hundrerd years with various magnitude. And in the late of December 2004 it hit Aceh and North Sumatera with magnitude almost 9 richter scale unit and following by big tsunami. Geoinformation in the best possible way can be used to avoid disaster and in case it has or cannot be avoided geoinformation in the best possible way can be used to support the disaster management/relief. The importance of geoinformation in the contect of disaster management is becoming apparent in many aspects including data collection, position and communication, data management and intergration, analysis, access and visualization, and standard. For all these aspects the role of a National Sapatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) is very principal and a central of an issue as for Indonesia. In this paper it will discussed about Indonesian NSDI related to land and disaster management of Aceh and North Sumatera earthquake and tsunami disaster in all of case.
