Introduction

Objective of the Research
Because of the sheer size of the country and its vast population, India offers an enormous market just waiting to be tapped by both local and international vendors. Globalization, national policy reformation, sharing of data, co-ordination between government and non-government agencies, building stable infrastructure, consideration of common people’s opinions and the free exchange of ideas will help reduce the disparity between the size of the GPS markets in India, and the western world.

The main purpose of this study is to check the above factors that are important for the success of the GPS market in India. The first hand responses from the vendors will play the pivotal role in the data collection.
