The answers to the above research question were found by testing some of the following hypothesis.
- Government policies impede the growth of GPS technology in India.
- Lack of awareness prevents the mass acceptance of GPS in India.
Information on the factors like general public awareness, availability of GPS, GPS/GIS related government policy’s, role of public and private vendors, sharing of data, and fair and innovative competitions was also verified through these hypotheses.
